My book is all about how to get more family tree time.  I don’t go into great detail about how to trace your family tree, as there’s lots of great books and websites already to show you how to do that.

Check out the "Beginners" page on Cora's fabulous website. There's zillions of genealogy and family history sites, including plenty for more advanced researchers too.
2 History, Genealogy & Heritage events
Unlock the Past keep a diary of upcoming history, genealogy and heritage events in Australia and NZ. There's events, conferences, seminars and topics galore to help you, no matter if you're new or not.
3 National Library of Australia - selected family history and genealogy websites
I love this page. It contains many of the organisations and societies you will need and use throughout your research. Many of these sites will have their own fact sheets about how to find your way around family tree research in their collections.
